A collection of articles on sport, principally as practised by public school boys of the early 20th century. The sports covered are fishing, big-game hunting, mountaineering, hunting, racing, small boat sailing, boxing, cricket, rugby football and rowing. As well as editing the book JB contributed the preface and the final article entitled Sport and Literature. 288 pages Blue cloth; gold lettering; gilt top edge; frontispiece and 9 other illustrations. Generally very good but the ends of the spine are slightly rubbed and there is a small mark near the foot of the spine. The gilt on the top edge is slightly dull. Small label on the front paste-down.
