Publisher's blue boards with dark blue lettering to the front board and spine. 312 pages + 8 page undated Catalogue to the rear of "Some of Hodder & Stoughton's New Novels". Quite heavy foxing to the top and fore-edges (particularly to the Catalogue at the rear of the book) which has crept into the text in places. The spine of the book has slightly faded and is slightly nicked at the base of the spine. A VG (or slightly better) copy. No D/W. The first "Miss Silver" mystery and RARE.
