Two items, being Guide to the Transcripts of the Black Women Oral History Project along with uncommon supplement printed on newsprint elaborating the project. The guide is bound in publishers red cloth, itself uncommon, while the supplement is printed on newsprint, folded twice in quarters, having been mailed. Both volumes come from the home of a tobacco smoker, so there is some requisite toning and odor, although inoffensively so. The book is clean and well bound, no markings whatsoever. The supplement is clean, with some light bumping and creasing wear common of something printed in such a format. No marks as well, except for the sticker containing the address of the recipient from when this was mailed, being the important scholar of Black Feminist studies, Quandra Prettyman, of Barnard University, thus making this a fantastic association copy, since thie book relates so directly to the field of study of Professor Prettyman. The supplement, which has little evidence online and none for sale, contains a rubric of the study including the type of questions asked, the schedule of the interviews, and some other fascinating background to the whole project.
