This was published in 1920 by Les Soins de lÕArtiste and included in a book titled Cinquante Dessins. The portfolio was edited and printed by Matisse himself. This is one sheet from the self produced suite of 50 photo-lithographic reproductions of his drawings of women to accompany a 1920 exhibition of his work to coincide with his exhibition at Bernheim-Jeune, France.
