First edition/printing of another Theodore Terhune bibliomystery; the second in the series . Date not stated but according to Hubin , 1942. A 1944 pen Christmas gift inscription to front free end paper. Thin hardcover boards show bumping to lower edge ; small scratch to front board; light browning to paper but binding tight and corners crisp. Price on jacket still present; jacket shows chips to spine edges ( see pics).A VERY GOOD book in just FAIR ( but rare!) jacket which shows well in protector and remains intact with cover illustration bright.
