Antique volume, measuring approximately 5" x 7.25", is bound in half leather and black cloth, with raised bands and stamped gilt lettering to spine. Book shows wear to covers, with some scuffing and rubbing to cloth covers. Minor wear is visible at corners. Binding is solid, with reenforced hinges. Pages display scattered mild foxing. The text is illustrated with vignettes, textual illustrations and three plates (summer, autumn and winter only). Heavier foxing is visible on verso of plates, with faint moisture markings at the margins. xii/412 pages.
