The publishing date was derived from item No. 39 ("The Continental Color Change"), the description of which begins: "This card effect is the invention of Mr. Hardin, never having been seen previous to this date (May, 1907)." A stapled catalog with glossy covers measuring 5-7/8" by 8-1/4" and containing 36 pages including front and rear covers. Condition: the covers are detached but present, edge-ragged and lightly soiled; the body of the catalogue is tightly bound by the two original staples, now rusted, and shows a small, light waterstain to the lower right corner of the title page, and short closed tear to rear cover.
