A fairly early novel from the prolific Ms Beresford. Although the author of a hundred or so books, she will forever be remembered most for creating The Wombles (of Wimbledon Common). She was the daughter of writer, J.D. Beresford and was married, at the time of this book, to Max Robertson who Englishmen, and women, of a certain age will remember as the voice of Wimbledon, along with Dan Maskell, and the presenter of "Going for a Song". But I digress. This "Hidden Mill" novel is well illustrated by the excellent Margery Gill, and this is a fine copy. The dust jacket is very good indeed, just very slightly worn at spine ends and faded on the spine panel. A smart copy of an uncommon book. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 002373
