This is a 1st edition of 1883 bound in full contemporary brown calf, with beautiful marbled EPs and block edge. The boards have a gilt crest to front and borders to front and rear, with elegant gilt scroll designs and titling to spine with five ridges. It is in very good condition for its age with minimal edge wear, just slightly cocked. Internally it is a nice tight copy with many sketches and in excellent condition.
