"Chartwell" edition first printing 1956-8. Volumes 1, 3 and 4 are in pristine condition with no writing or markings whatsoever. Volume 2 has sadly got damp at some point and has some significant mold/mildew damage to the cover (see pictures). It could probably be cleaned up/repaired to look quite a lot better but I am not qualified so have not attempted it. Volume 2 was formerly in the same condition as the others, with no writing or markings - it is now sealed in a separate bag to protect the others. All have tight binding and bright pages. Light shelf wear and rubbing to spines of blue cloth covers but the gilt lettering is still bright and shiny. There is very light foxing on the end pages of volume 1. The condition of this listing describes volumes 1,3 & 4 and volume 2 would be added in for free if you would like it or it can be left out. Volumes 3 & 4 are wrapped in protective, non-adhesive plastic. Heavy together so extra postage may apply. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers G2/661-4
