Both boards are bowed, the rear more so than the front; PON stamped at top of front paste down, interior otherwise clean. Edges have slight loss of color (as though they had been damp,but neither the paste downs nor the free end pages show any evidence of being damp). Jacket is clean and intact but for light chipping at head & heel of spine and a bit along the lower edge; however, there are there are three short (the longest is about 1-1/4 inch long) tears which were "fixed" with scotch tape on the outside of the jacket.
