This work is in attractive half calf binding, with gilt detailing to the spine and bright marble boards. First edition of the work. This work was compiled by author Compton Reade and Cecil George Savile Foljambe, 1st Earl of Liverpool, who was a British Liberal politician. An interesting insight into British heraldry through this aristocratic family, with family trees included depicting different sides to the family.With twenty four plates, a frontispiece and a folding plate depicting members of the Cornewall family. In half calf binding with marbled boards. Externally, very smart, with minor bumping to the extremities and the odd mark to boards. Small label to spine tail. Renewed endpapers. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, with slight age toning and spotting throughout. Plate to page 211 detached but present. Very Good Indeed.
