Back strip very lightly sunned & has a wrinkle in the cloth at the head of spine but gilt title clear & legible. First edition with 1907 at foot of title pp. Boards slightly bowed towards page block, tips fairly sharp with color loss but no major rubbing, spine ends bumped. Small rub at head of frt gutter, tips bumped and brushed, top edge gilt, boards slightly cocked. Not ex-library. Tidy former owner's name at head of age-toned frt pastedown. 268 pages are clean with a couple of now unfolded dog-ears. No illustrations save for a dozen or so beautifully illust publisher's adverts w/several on ladies saddlery and custom dress. Uncommon volume intended for beginner fox hunters.
