Published in London in 1867, this is the very scarce First Edition of this book on the art of Lithography, bound in the original embossed patterned green cloth boards titled in gilt to upper cover, 10 inches tall approx., 89 pages plus a six-page catalogue of Straker & Sons Lithographic supplies, this example is not illustrated with the six plates found in some copies, with no evidence that they were ever bound in. The covers have some mild marks, light rubbing wear, internally endpapers heavily browned. Old ownership names to title page, light browning to page edges, else in very good condition.
