First Edition. Black cloth boards with gilt titling. Book is Fine and flawless inside and out. Unclipped DJ is also in great shape, albeit with some scuffing on edge of flap. This is a James Bond novel, of which Gardner took over the rights in the late 70's and wrote multiple Bond novels, mostly all highly regarded including this one. Oddly, this DJ is not yellow on the top half where the wood grain is. It's not faded so unsure if it's a printing mistake. DJ is now housed in an archival quality Brodart book jacket cover.
