1st edn. Hardback, no d/w. 186pp. 5 full page b/w illustrations by J Skelton (dated 1897) + full page illustrated chapter headings. Tan cloth boards with gilt titles and pale blue decorative frame to front and gilt titles to spine. Very minor bumps and rubs to extrems, boards very clean and bright. Text block untrimmed to leading and lower edges. Neat name stamp (Arthur F Hooper) to front free endpaper, minor tanning to endpapers otherwise internally very clean, bright and tight.
