The book is tan paper-covered boards with darker tan paper spine. The dust jacket is plain dark gray no title or decorations. The reasons for the grading is the front cover has a water stain that penetrated the the dust jacket and left a circular stain approximately 4" in diameter The paper cover on the boards has worn and became unglued from the forward edge of the boards; it is firmly attached at the spine. Previous owner's bookplate is inside front cover. The front hinge is cracked but holding. The dust jacket is worn but has protected the book except in the water spill. There are a few penciled numbers by several of the photos of the painting which we presume is the selling price realized at the auction. There are a total of 901 paintings listed --many with black and white photos of the listed painting. This is a rare catalogue of early Japanese art. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 007263
