Although these works compliment each other very well, they were each published as standalone volumes, complete in themselves.All three works were written by Scottish naturalist, James Rennie, who works as Professor of natural history and zoology at King's College, London, in the 1830s.Profusely illustrated with vignette sketches throughout each volume. Bound in the publisher's cloth. Externally, very good, with light bumping to the extremities and a little fraying to the spine head and tail. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to boards. Previous owner's ink inscription to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with light spotting in places. Some pages remain unopened. Very Good.
