True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (£2.00/40s). Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, the odd small mark, fading to/near spine, the odd small crease/rub to edges, a couple of very small (approx. 2mms) tears, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and to corners, patchy browning/odd small mark/minor foxing to reverse (white side) and minor creasing/rubbing/odd small mark to front/back inner flaps. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Odd small mark/minor foxing to top edge of pages. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges. Very occasional small mark/spots of foxing to pages. No other faults.
