The work is a photographic survey of Israel during the 1951-52 year, covering a wide cross-section of subjects including landscape, industry, society, education, culture, military, and governmental institutions. Profusely illustrated throughout with countless b/w photographic reproductions. Foreword, statistics table and text captions throughout in Hebrew and English. Wrappers with some light smudges, creasing, rubbing and/or closed tears to the extremities. Some minor sunning to the edges of pages. Starting at the title page, with book block tight overall.
