FIRST EDITION 1722, Latin text, small 4to, approximately 195 x 155 mm, 7¾ x 6 inches, title page printed red and black, some historiated initials and head- and tailpieces, 2 folding geometric plates at rear, pages: (12), 207, (1 - errata), bound in full contemporary speckled calf, raised bands, gilt ruled compartments with floral motif, gilt lettered tan morocco label, all edges speckled red. Binding slightly rubbed, small amateur repair to top compartment on spine, a couple of very small dark stains to lower cover, a few ink numbers and letters to front endpapers, title page faintly browned, many pages of text browned, all still easily legible.
