A document of Jashumon, a fearsome, tenebrous 1972 performance by Shuji Terayama's infamous experimental theater troupe Tenjo Sajiki. Collects photographs, news clippings, posters, and descriptions of the performance, and includes a CD of the full soundtrack by J.A. Caesar, characterized by "flashes of huge, organ-led marches supported by clouds of choral song and throat-shredding death/folk vocals, brief episodes of forlorn traditional breath lost in a thin soup of electronics and gongs, massed acid chants a la Ya Ho Wha 13 and bursts of modal guitar psych". Paper promotional band intact with moderate creasing, obi strip intact. CD appears to be in good condition, though the seller is unable to guarantee its playability, lacking the archaic technology required to play it back.
