Volume I: XII, 339, [1] pp. Vol II: [8], [63] pp + LXIII lithographic plates. Maps, plans, folding plates, tinted views. The plates include Mount Zion, David's Tomb, Jewish Hospital Misgav Ladach, Absalom's Tomb and other sites; includes a large panorama of Jerusalem from Mount of Olives. Pierotti arrived in Jerusalem in 1854 and served as a consultant to the renovation works of the Temple Mount. He appointed as the City Engineer of Jerusalem.
