Just a good only first edition book with its original and uncommon jacket. The jacket is torn about 5 inches along the front flap leaving about a three inch connection. There is a a stain on the front panel and chips missing at the corners and spine ends. Ads for H.G. Wells books on the back panel.The binding on the book is worn and one corner is crushed. This is the first issue with "first published 1918" on the copyright page and the jacket showing the original price 9/-net on the spine. Uncommon with the jacket in any condition.
