Newly re-backed three-quarter leather with marbled paper over boards with original leather title laid down on spine. New endpapers. Pages slightly toned in text block. Signed by A. S. Clough on free endpaper, of whom we find no record. Much of this second legislative assembly, which met from December 6th 1865 through December 30th dealt with the drafting and approval of the standing rules of the Council and House bodies and continued refinement of the Howell Code. In addition many bills and resolutions were discussed and voted on dealing with the economic structure of the state, especially as it pertained to mining.
