Quarter bound in green cloth over tan paper boards. Title on the spine and zodiac design on front cover. Covers are lightly soiled. Corners are bumped. Tan areas on end papers. There is a small tear on the fore-edge of back cover. Pages are lightly age-toned with a sprinkling of foxing on the margins of several pages but not on the illustrations. Otherwise the book is clean and unmarked. The sewn binding is sound. There are twelve full page woodcut designs in black and white , one for each month of the year.
