A hint of foxing to the top edge and a small chip from the left hand edge of the rear free end-paper overall a VG+ copy. The D/W is not price-clipped and is priced 9s 6d net to the inside flap (as called for). The fragile D/W has minor edge-wear and creasing and is a VG example. Second escapade for ex-actor "Filthy" Lewker and poet Gideon Hazel finds the companions venturing from London to Algiers, from Saharan wadis to the cwms of the Welsh hills, on the trail of a missing actress.
