The book begins with a history of the game and its advantages, then delves into instructional aspects of the game, comprising almost half of the contents. Following are charters on Ladies Championships, Ladies Clubs, International Matches, Dress, Famous Lady Golfers, American Ladies Golf, Etiquette, Rules, Some Famous Links. Photographs of different women players include Hezlet, Rhona Adair, and Margaret Curtis among others. Olive green cloth with light extremity wear, bumped front upper corner. The gilt decoration and lettering on front and spine in very good condition, top page edges gilt. Unused bookplate on front pastedown, endpapers bright, hinges sound, contents clean and tight.
