Stated on copyright page that this was printed exclusively for Stone and Thomas Department Store BINDING: Hardbound in tan cloth with gold lettering on a brown title block on the front cover, 9" x 12", 99 pages DUST JACKET: The jacket has a lot of chipping at the extremities with the worst at the top rear. BOOK CONDITION: Light spotting to the end papers otherwise the interior is unmarked and the binding is tight. Sun fading to the covers but no affect on lettering. There is a bump to the upper rear spine edge that left a short rip in the cloth but it doesn't affect the contents or the integrity of the book. DESCRIPTION: Pages 12 through 99 are full page photo illustrations of Old Wheeling, there is also a frontispiece from an 1849 steel engraving of "Wheeling in Virginia".
