DJ good, with piece missing along crown of spine, two pieces missing at top of back, piece missing at top of front, some rubbing and chipping along tail of spine, joints, bottom edge of front and back, and at corners, very tiny piece missing at top of front flap, small tear at top of front, slight discoloration on spine and inside DJ. Cloth (with collie head on front cover), illustrated endpapers showing the route of Lassie's journey; illustrated by Marguerite Kirmse (full-page frontispiece in color; full-page and smaller black-and-white text illustrations).
