A VG copy with a contemporary name and date on the FFEP, foxing particularly to the early pages of the book, a slightly faded spine and minor wear at the spine tips. The D/W is in near fine condition with only a couple of minor nicks and with a hint of spine fade. The D/W is priced 7/6 net to the spine (as called for). The D/W is quite fragile and in this lovely, collector's condition is exceedingly uncommon. To quote the D/W: THE LAST STRAW'S " scoundrels are villains of the deepest dye; its heroines delightfully girlish; its murders are all that murders can be.".
