Excellent tight clean first printing, armorial bookplate to inner pastedown, no other markings. Plates and lithographs all in good order with tissue guards intact. Occasional light foxing freckles mostly to edges, b&w engraved plates more affected than text pages. Boards original bright green unfaded stipple cloth with bright gilt keyline and titling, armorialm device to front panel. Rubbing to spine ends and corners not amounting to much. xxviii + 548pp. 14 Lithographs, with tissue guards, 4 of which are colour. 100 Woodcuts, in-text. Size: Royal 8vo.
