Oblong 4to. Pp. 63. Text by Herbert S. Richland. Illustrated throughout with examples and depictions of various letters and fonts. Bound in tan cloth stamped with blue and black lettering and design on front board. Some wear, with fingering and ink spots on front and rear covers. Previous owner's signature on endpaper. An insightful look into the psychology of per-WWII marketing concepts as expressed through lettering. Although firmly bound, the ink spots and soiling suggest this guide was used in situ.
