How interesting and valuable would a series of cases be, taken in the rigid spirit of truth, and with a continual reference to the divisions of the nervous system, which I have proposed ! Like the scientific traveller, I have sketched my route, to which I shall adhere, or from which I shall deviate, according as new views may present themselves, and direct my further progress.
