12mo. 67, (6) pages. Hardcover in blue cloth with title in gilt on front cover. Binding is rubbed, scuffed. Is rubbed at corners and headcap/foot. Front flyleaf has a written notation, "Alfred J Martin, Locust Dale, Virginia. 14 December 1876". There are some pencil marks in the margin on the first page of the Preface as well as copious penciled notations covering the rear flyleaf and pastedown. The bulk of the text is a bit toned but unmarked. Each page presents passages in Greek, Latin, Italian, French, German, and various English translations. An interesting book. Pages Past is a small used and antiquarian bookshop holding 10,000-15,000 volumes. We are located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Most of our books are hardback, although we have a few bookcases of paperbacks with recent fiction and classic literature represented. We also have a fairly good collection of Eastern Philosophy & Religion (Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism) as well as New Age. Most of these are recent paperbacks in nice condition. We have a good collection of antiquarian books in the fields of Americana, old leather bound books, and early religious and scholarly books. Shop hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. We're closed on Sundays. We are always interested in buying quality books in very good condition.
