Spine almost completely loose from binding, barely hanging on. Heavy staining to both boards. Moderate staining to all edges of textblock. Front and rear hinges cracked. Rear hinge loose from binding barely hanging on. Moderate foxing to interior pages. The character of Nickleby is a young man who must support his mother and sister after his father dies.
