Red cloth covered boards with bright gilt block titling on spine (very 1930's) and beautiful floral patterned endpapers. Book is 8vo, 233 pp and in Near Find condition, tight, square and with no markings inside or out. Very minor foxing on page edges. Isobel Field was the step-daughter of Robert Louis Stevenson and so this autobiography is filled with interesting characters. In her later life, she lived in Los Olivos, CA, which became a gathering spot for artists, writers and actors. She also lived in American Samoa. Lots of great stories here.
