Cloth-backed pictorial paper boards. 4to. A collection of stories and verse by Elizabeth S. Tucker with 6 full-page color plates by Maud Humphrey. The text and plates are printed on one side of the page only and each page of writing bears a decorative border designed by Tucker. The binding is quite worn with some spotting and edge-chipping to the cover boards and some fraying to the spine tips. Internally the book's pages are in good condition with some light spotting and soiling to a few of the margins. The color plates are in nice condition with some light spotting in the margin of several of the plates. Two of the plates have a short tear at the right side. There is an ink owner's inscription on the flyleaf but no other writing in the book. Scarce. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 7687
