A record of the experiences.of a husband and wife, both city born and bred, who, after being bombed out and losing all their possessions, went to live in a small hut in the country [south of Edinburgh]. Th hut . had one room . which served as bedroom, kitchen, lounge and library, workshop and dining-room. Book in very good condition, some spots of foxing, previous owner's blind stamp to ffep, page edges foxed. Unclipped jacket (original price 6/-) very good but spine heavily sunned and torn upwards from the foot to half way and across. Also small losses to corners and to the tip of the spine.
