Fascimile Reproduction of the log book for the iconic American naval ship the U.S. Constitution, known as "Old Ironsides". Added to the original log book entries are modern narrative and illustrations on the history and operation of the ship. BOOK - is Very Fine. Green-grey leather covers have very bright gilt titling and elaborate stamped rulings on both front and rear. Also on front cover a piece of wood form the hull of Old Ironsides is affixed and the outline of the ship herself in bright gilt. End papers are faux wood grain and textblock edges are very bright gilt all around. Elephant folio size - 10" by 16". 95 pages, illustrated. Extra shipping may be needed due to the size of the book.
