This VG-/VG- book is likely a first edition--both jacket and book list only up to the 1933 Hardy Boys title. The exterior is clean with a slight lean, slight bumps without fabric damage to the lower corners and the head and heel of the spine, and very mild wear on the bottom edge of each board. There are no edge dings. Except for a blackened-out name on the FFEP (the blackening has bled slightly onto the front paste down--see photo), the interior is free of writing, stains and paper damage. Hinges are strong and the paper is quite flexible. The jacket has minor chips at all the usual spots: all four corners and the head and heel of the spine; there is a small tear with folds at the top of the front panel. Also, the face of one of the men on the front panel has been damaged, probably by a piece of tape that has removed the layer of color (see photo). Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers BMR-2019-5-30-3
