Duodecimo. 5 1/4 x 3 1/2". [35 pages]. Illustrated wrappers in tan and black, with tower on the front cover. An illustrated Jewish calendar and promotional booklet in German (with some Hebrew) for the year 5686 (1925-1926), issued by the Jewish National Fund (Keren Kayemet L'Yisrael). The interior lists the goals of the KKL as set forth at the World Zionist conference in London, 1920. The content of the calendar itself is printed in a multi-column format with information in German and Hebrew facing each other, and includes listing for Sabbaths, holidays and festivals, as well as zodiac illustrations. Following the calendar is a variety of promotional texts for the fund, listing their recent accomplishments, ongoing activities and land cultivation projects, accompanied by b/w photographic reproductions. Also included is a detailed double-page illustrated map of Palestine, showing the fund's land holdings at the time, with a listing of the each piece of land's size, listed in Ottoman Dunams. The interior back cover contains a listing of the world Jewish population at the time, broken down by continents, and further by country. The back cover contains a listing of commemorative dates in the history of the Zionist movement from starting from the year 1860. Text in German with the calendar in both German and Hebrew. Wrappers with some minor creasing to the front cover. Wrappers in very good, interior in near fine condition overall. Quite scarce. Protected by modern mylar.
