1st ed. 1st printing. Illustrated board covers with bevelled edges and cream linen spine, slightly faded, with corners rubbed and generally a bit worn. A name to top of copyright page. Illustrated eps have light offset shading to ffeps; the gutterings are undamaged. Apart from "H was a hard-headed Hare", which has a vertical crease, all 24 (XYZ all on one page) delightful coloured plates edged with black are clean, although some of the white margins are very lightly marked and a few also creased or lightly stained to the very topmost edges.
