First UK Trade Edition. Publisher s original blue cloth lettered in gilt to the spine. Pink top-stain. Minor shelf wear to the bottom edge of both the front and back boards otherwise a near fine copy. In the D/W priced 7s 6d net to the top right hand corner of the front flap. The D/W has a touch of fraying at the head of the spine which is also a shade darker with some foxing. Still a nice copy of the First Trade UK printing published by Faber and Faber in 1930. The second book in the author's semi-autobiographical Sherston Trilogy, largely dealing with his experiences on the Western Front. A very nice copy indeed. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 355490714926
