IAN FLEMING - THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, published by Jonathan Cape, copyright 1965, First Printing ("First Published 1965" at top of copyright page with no reference to subsequent printings or a month of printing), green & white patterned endpapers, list in front of book to "You Only Live Twice" and rear DJ flap to itself, early state of 1st printing with "The Man with the Golden Gun" printed on 1 line on the pre-title page (later state of the 1st printing and all later printings had the title printed on 2 lines on the pre-title page), black boards with gold gilt lettering on spine, Richard Chopping illustrated DJ, 18s net price on DJ front flap. Book has no creased page corners, barest hint of dust soiling/age darkening to outer page edges with barest hint of foxing to top outer page edge only, no former ownership markings or used bookstore stamps/stickers inside, clean endpapers with no discoloration or foxing, no internal hinge splitting, no wear to board edges or board corners or to spine tips, no bumped board corners, no soiling/markings to boards, no wear to gilt spine lettering. Dust Jacket has no chipping, tearing or creasing, ALMOST NO WEAR TO SPINE TIPS, NO WEAR TO FRONT FLAP CREASE - just a hint of wear at flap crease corners, NO wear to left/right on spine, NO edge wear, ever so slight spine sun darkening is about only defect (very common defect with this DJ - normally the spine is found badly age/sun darkened), ever so faint tiny spot at top right otherwise NO SOILING OR STAINING OR EVEN DUST DISCOLORATION TO PANELS (common defect with this light color DJ). Overall a N-FINE book in FINE-/N-FINE condition dust jacket (not price clipped) of an Ian Fleming U.K. 1st printing hardcover book.
