VG/0/Ist ed. A clean, tight, square, solid copy that never saw the inside of a library. First Edition with no foxing or marking. Maroon cloth covers with title in gilt lettering on front and spine, which has darkened and is not easily read. The back bottom corner is slightly bumped. These are the flaws that keep this book from a Fine classification. This copy previously owned by Virginia Steele Wood, noted historian and author of many books about Coastal Georgia. Her signature and I guess the purchase date, can be found on the front pastedown. 212 pages of notices, an extensive family name and then individual names in the family index. Uncommon.
