First trade edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Very gently bumped to head and foot of spine. Boards very clean with slightly softened corners. Title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with nearly white bottom and fore-edges, top edge is dusty, with two feint marks. Feels gently read, and still tight. Near Fine condition. Price clipped jacket has general light wear and rubbing. The front panel has a 12mm split to the top fore-edge corner with associated crease. There is a 30mm split to the center of the front joint. There are small losses to joint and spine ends. The red title of the spine is slightly faded, and still retains colour. The rear white panel has some feint marking, but still presents well. Jacket grades as very good. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a quality addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. This classic collection features twelve titles, all written between 1934 and 1936. Despite some wear to the jacket this copy still present very well on the shelf in the fitted archival cover.
