Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm mono vinyl rock 'n roll record, Tamla TM-237, very-good-plus vinyl a very good-plus cardboard jacket with some rub to bottom edge. As this was the Marvelettes' fourth LP ("Please Mr. Postman" was 1961) it does NOT contain the first two big hits, "Postman" or"Beechwood 4-5789." Instead we get Holland-Dozier-Holland's "Locking Up My Heart," Holland-Dozier-Gorman's "Strange I Know" and "Too Strong to Be Strung Along," and Whitfield-Stevenson's "It's Gonna Take a Lot of Doing (To Undo All the Damage That You've Done)," etc. The typical jacket notes -- "high school talent show" but no mention of songwriters, arrangers, backup musicians, nothin' -- are by Ira Howard.
