He was Bishop of Durham from 1901 to 1920.Illustrated with eight plates. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is generally smart except for a damp staining to one edge of the boards. Spine is slightly faded. Gilt remains bright. Small bump to the lower corner of the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Dust wrapper is sound, though sunned and somewhat worn to the spine, with a little chipping to the head and tail of the spine. Significant tear to the fold of the front flyleaf, and small holes to the fold of the rear flyleaf. Marks to the front of the wrap. Good. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 921M1
