First UK Edition. Publisher's cornflower-blue boards with black lettering to the spine. The boards are beautifully clean and bright. Heavy offsetting to both the front and rear end-papers and quite heavy foxing to the page block edges still a VG+ copy. The D/W is priced 4/- net to the spine (as called for). The VG+ (or better) D/W is creased at the head of the spine but otherwise complete. "A fashionable grill room where crime, espionage and romance play among the fine food and wine about which E Phillips Oppenheim knows so well".
